Who Am I? I am you

First off, my background is in emergency medicine. I am a lifelong migraine suffer. Constant dislocator, multi bone breaker.

I was finally diagnosed with EDS in my 30s and all its comorbidities, such as POTS, MCAS, ect, and navigating the medical system/insurance, who I need to see, wait times, cost. I was enduring doctor's appointments once a week at the very least, and trying medication after medication, which felt like throwing spaghetti at the wall only to be left with a less than empathetic approach. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. I was at my wits end so I knew I had to do something different. I then turned to functional/integrative health and started meeting with practitioners who were empathetic, and treated me as a whole being, and asking extensive questions not just about my symptoms but about my environment, diet, relationships. Piece by piece, they helped me make changes and it worked!  This was by no means a quick fix but a lasting root cause life changing one! 

I've combined my expertise in the emergency room into my integrative and somatic practitioner coaching to cultivate a plan to keep you moving forward.  I truly believe that utilizing holistic modalities leads to the root cause of your health and empowers you to self heal.

I believe life is meant to be lived to the fullest and for someone with chronic illness that can take a back seat. As a fellow zebra I feel a duty to turn around and help others take that first daunting step in their healing journey. I got you!

What you will Achieve

MAKING CHANGE

Let’s take a moment and look at the differences between your internal and external world. Making change oftentimes requires growth both internally and externally. On one hand the external world allows you to reach for something you desire, and creates a sense of intention & direction.

The internal is where the work is done and where you uncover the confidence, root cause limiting beliefs and develop a stronger sense of self. Change is Uncomfortable. In other words, the obstacle to reaching any “goal” that you set for yourself is YOU. Undoing, unlearning in order to rewire your brain is how we are going to make those changes and self realizing you were never the ugly duckling you were the swan in your life the entire time.  It’s a process, and one that there is no “timeline” for.

Accepting the inevitable:

Life is going to life and with that come frustrations and setbacks. It’s how you move through them differently that is going to lead to a transformative experience. The amygdala—interprets change as a threat and releases the hormones for fear, fight, or flight. Your body is actually protecting you from change. That is why so many people in life, when presented with a new initiative or idea—even a good one, with tons of benefits—will resist it.

Let’s get curious what that resistance is and hold compassion rather than shame for your brain doing its job to keep you safe. Thank the brain & now let it feel, you are safe at this moment.

It’s Depth or Bust

Our work together is primarily about the internal. You will set ambitious external goals with the understanding that those goals give us a process in which we can identify and transform your subconscious patterns and beliefs. I can assist with all the healthy lifestyle/ supplements but if not operating from a regulated state to self heal none of the external stuff matters. So first things first is brain retaining.

Making Meaningful Changes

    • Understand exactly what you want and become empowered to alchemize it in the small moments of your life.

    • Strengthening your decision making skills, self trust, leaning on your intuition, and what that feels like in your body.

    • Understand what it really feels like to be non-attached from external outcomes because you already have the result internally (which increases the likelihood of creating the external outcome).

    • Fill your life with curiosity, wonder, awe, passion, grounded confidence, enthusiasm, and empowerment.

    • Develop the skills to self regulate and co-regulate to calm ourselves in stressful situations.

    • Set your emotional awareness up to maximize your adaptability and capacity to evolve and grow.

    • Recognizing all emotions, especially those that are suppressed, have physical effects.Yet they come out as small ticking time bombs looking like anxiety, fear, feeling stuck. Once expressed the body can find calm.

  • This list isn't exhausted, but at minimum, you will:

    • Find your voice and use it

    • Proficiency in self advocacy & overcoming people pleasing.

    • Develop the ability to express your needs and boundaries, from a self regulated body, ensuring personal and professional relationships are mutually respectful and fulfilling.

    • Build a thriving elegant life and skills that you can't wait to tell others about in your work and personal life.

    • Confidence that can be authentically seen and felt by others.

    • Getting back or developing new hobbies that bring joy to your life.

    • Attract people who are also living in alignment to their truest self.

    • Learn about the simplest and most effective tools, getting back to the basics to heal thyself.

    • Lead with curiosity and openness to bring your thoughts, challenges and experiences to our sessions.

    • Remain open to various methods, ideas and tools to navigate your wellness.

    • Commit to integrating new practices into your everyday life.

    • Commit to showing yourself so much compassion for showing up for yourself.

    • Commit to making whatever lifestyle tweaks necessary to cultivate the momentum required to build the life you want.

    • Use Telegram to share specific problems and ask specific questions. Use Telegram to practice clear, direct communication (which translates into every other relationship in your life: colleagues, bosses, friends & family etc)

    • Coaching 1:1- Virtually weekly 30min zoom calls with telegram support m-f

    • Somatic sessions 50min virtual

    • You fill out an application to work with me to see if we are a good fit. I will respond in 2-3 business days.

    • If we are a match then I will send over onboarding health forms/contracts to best understand your specific goals.

    • Once completed we will select a weekly date time for our sessions. Then from there the real work begins!!
